I have watched so many videos using this same technique and it looks gorgeous and easy but through trying this again and again I learned this ONLY works on smooth (er) surfaces. On already textured walls the paint simply brushes over the top texture only, leaving all the deeper "dimples" untouched. That looks like a bad painting job
