Painting Diagnol Stripes on ALL MY WALLS 😳

That color choice is perfect and like a few people said the stripes look like sun beams, definitely gives quiet Sunday morning with a mug of tea vibes, especially with all that natural lighting.

For fear of making the room too busy, I would say leave the ceiling be. I did have a thought that maybe painting it a color a few shades lighter than the stripes might look cool. Nothing too dark to make the ceiling look low, but with a bit more hue than just white/creme.

It’s very pretty!! I also LOVE the tip about painting the base color first to prevent the accent color from bleeding through that is AWESOME! Also using the tape for correct spacing is super smart. All in all a really great looking project with really helpful hints to get a nice finished look. Thanks for sharing!

It's like sun coming through binds. I think this would also look good with monotone in different finishes like flat and satin of the same color

Love the stripes. As for the ceiling I'd go with a solid border of the same beige but leave the very top of the ceiling white. Then add a medallion around the light fixture painted the same beige.

I love it. It wouldn’t have worked if you’d picked really vibrant or differing colors, but because you went with two shades of that soft linen color instead of busy it’s just peaceful.
