I admired Ange for keeping it secret. Players can focus on the treble, but the players knew. One of the players said "It's not for me to say when interviewed after the game. Plus Fans can celebrate. That was the most emotional I have seen Ange. I suspected Ange was gone when Rogers was sitting with the CEO at a game a few weeks earlier.

I’ve believe that Ange’s emotion and love for Celtic was/is genuine. He seems the type of guy who, while he’s in charge, is 100% invested. But in life and business when massive opportunities and challenges come your way, you would be an idiot not to take it on, no matter how much you feel for your current and safe little job. As for keeping it quiet. Imagine the uproar and backlash and distraction if he said something before the biggest game in Celtic year…..not a smart move. No win situation. Good luck Ange.
