If mechs can reload, then the difficulty just goes down and makes it less tense, so good move by the devs not making it easy

Blows my mind that "nonsense" like TimeSplitters 4 gets smacked down but we still got the pure schite that was Saints Row 2022....

Wait. An executive that understands the business they are in?

Mechs don't suck at all. They are powerful limited use items like all other strategems.

Of course you shouldn't be able to replenish its ammo. Otherwise they'd have to make them so weak they'd be useless.

You know what's nice about Helldivers 2? It has a battle pass that never expires, you can earn everything in the battlepass through playing the game and you can even get the premium battle pass/skins without paying any extra money

The real mech stratagem lets you call it in twice so... There's your reload

I love the idea of games allowing character creators to be accessible before the actual launch. That way you can spend loads of time perfecting it without feeling any pressure to actually start the game... probably helps people get somewhat attached to the idea of buying the game too. Smart idea.

Exclusives are dumb, can make way more by having all consoles and PC able to play. God knows we would be happy to play Nintendo games on anything but the low tier hardware they release on...

I need to play as the mythbusters in a fighting game

I know not every topic can be super thorough, but the Helldivers mechs don’t suck - against the bugs. They do get blown up fast against robots but against bugs they’re really good

I think Sony is missing that Sony Interactive seem to be good at backing genuinely good companies and teams (or are just using good publisher/ developer relations practices and giving the studios time and resources to shine). Would be interesting to see a deep dive on this and how they compare to someone like EA or Activision

No it doesn't, because its not an exclusive to begin with. Its on PC. Just because MS is giving up(after slowly transitioning to that point since the X1), doesnt mean Sony should when their ACTUAL exclusives sell the PS5.

Mario is an Italian name. Italians use the short ‘a’, not the long ‘a’ that North Americans insist on applying to every foreign word they encounter.

as a good tip, dont quote idiot articles
the mechs are by far the strongest in the game, they 2shot everything they kill bile titans chargers hulks everything, you can angle so chargers do zero dmg ... they ignore small dmg nearly complete they are so good

Well, the post-credit scene in Super Mario Brothers DID zoom in on a Yoshi Egg.

I've ALWAYS thought exclusives were stupid for this exact reason. You're missing out on money. Game platform exclusives, regional exclusives, or national exclusive(like most things in Japan). The basic driving force of any business, no matter what the owner, ceo, or employees say, is to make money. So, exclusivity is stupid.

Besides PC games that won't run on console, exclusivity has always seemed pretty stupid in the long run
