Sony has no intention whatsoever of putting Helldivers 2 on Xbox or any of their IPs. They don’t need Xbox consoles as much as Microsoft needs PS5 consoles or Nintendo systems

I really think that the ps account linking fiasco was them trying to get it bolted down before Xbox joins the fray. Xbox showcase is this weekend, if it's not announced during it, I think it will be a long wait or not at all.

Everyone owning a PC or a Steam Machine like box is definitely going to be the end goal. Steam Deck is definitely the first huge step towards it. It would be great. Console people could have their Steam Machine that has games made to run on that hardware so they don't have to tinker, while PC players would benefit also because PC games would be better optimized while being able to push graphics to the max! Plus if someone with a Steam Machine wanted to see what having a PC was like, that piece of hardware would basically be a PC. I truly see this happening at some point.
