From picking up trash on the street to talking trash on the court. He never left the business 😂

Larry Bird is a real man, not because he puts on a macho act, but because he has integrity, determination, willpower, and in spite of all his accolades and abilities, humility. Major respect to him

The more I hear about Larry Bird the more I appreciate him. I wish I could've seen him in his prime

He recently said the manliest thing I ever heard... " I wasn't recruited much by colleges but I scored 40 in the Ind/Ky HS game after puttin up hay all day and that changed things"

This is one damn good video. Many people think bird was unathletic but he was an absolute unit on the court. Magic even said "There will never ever be another Larry Bird."

It's just so weird listening to the story of Larry Bird compared to anyone of today's NBA. Man is giving it his all, for himself, for his family, and the fans who come to see him. Doesn't care about his pain, humiliation, or discomfort. But wants to absolutely dominate you. Quadruple double? Don't care. I already killed you. I really miss people like Larry Bird playing.

Coldest white boy to ever touch a basketball…as a Pistons fan he drove me crazy as a kid watching him torch us and making it look so damn easy lol

LARRY “JOE” BIRD my favorite player ever . He was cocky, fundamental, intelligent and had a very good iq. ONE of the best shooters in history and THE greatest trash talker by far 🦅💚

His Dad was a real man. Truth is, he was right. His family WAS better served by what he did. It’s sad that’s the way it is, but it is. He raised all his kids until adulthood, got them into college, and when he was all used up, he pulled the only lever he had left in one last attempt to provide for them. Tragic and I'm not saying he did the "right thing" but I understand what he was trying to do, being a father myself. RIP

Bird is a pure beast! His court vision is unreal. He was just absolutely amazing to watch and he never failed to amaze you. Hats off to this man. A true human being, ornery as hell, but a great soul we all had the pleasure to witness.

that's why he is miles away from today's players: he play through the pain and respected the game. he saved the NBA with Magic.

Larry's dad, even though you tried to portrait him as a heavy drinker, he seemed to be a hero in my book, selfless, hard working, a real man. and made the ultimate decision for his family even though most left him

This is possibly one of the best documentary of Larry bird. I grew up in that era and even with that, I’m still learning something new about Larry. He truly is a legend. The good old days. Wish the nba today was like that.
