Another tip would be to put your translocator near the health pack instead of on it to hide it and make it less predictable

I've been a Sombra main since she was released and I still forget to put my translocator down so instead of teleporting, I throw it at 5 people and die instantly.

Another tip is to ping your hacked targets as it provides a directional and auditory que for their position that remains for most of the hack duration.

One of my tips is if you’re going into a 1v1, pay attention to the other enemy’s locations. If you win the 1v1 and need to translocate to heal, and you see 3 other enemies engaging in the fight with your team, odds are that 4th person is either coming back from spawn or is on your translocator

A more advanced tip: don't get tunnel vision on any of the health packs. Use your short cooldown tp to flank and to shoot from different angles. She can be a menace if you play her this way, as you no longer have the 5 second time in which Sombrero is out of the fight because she went back to a health pack.

👾More Sombra Tips👾: Don’t always put your translocater on a health pack. A lot of maps have high ground next to, or above health packs this is so you aren’t completely out of the fight you can hack over shields on high ground. You can still poke for your team while dropping down to the health pack as well. The number one problem new Sombra players have is they’re not active enough in team fights, i still mess up from time to time and teleport too far from the fight, doing this i’m getting no value for my team. Always ask yourself why am i throwing down my translocater right here is it high ground, is there a health pack near by, does my support have an angle on me here, or am i just impulsively throwing my translocater. Always have a plan for where you’ll go when you translocate. When you spawn on say push or control throw your translocater out from spawn immediately to get ahead of your team, so you can start setting up ahead of time or to get ahead of a possible enemy Sombra. Against an enemy Sombra the fastest one wins the hack on the health packs and the positioning. It’s important to get set up as fast as possible for Sombra so your not hacking a health pack a little to far from your team at the beginning of a fight, removing that important bit of dps pressure doing this can cost you the fight, As small as it may be think “i’ll just be gone for a second” in that time a sojourn could beam a tank to build rail gun and head shot your mercy. Keep these things in mind as Sombra. So translocter placement why am i placing it here, high ground is sombra’s best friend for hacking over shields or getting angles in important hack targets, getting out of spawn asap on push and control to set up, stay in the fight as much as you can, and obviously as sombra do your absolute best to make sure that the enemy team is having zero fun 😆

That list tip really applies to every hero in the game TBH. You do NOT have to instantly nuke the enemy team to win. Even solo ulting an important target can give your team the tempo to clean up the rest of the fight. Not to say that you should always be trying to solo ult instead of hitting a team, but you should definitely keep an eye out for those opportunities when they arise, since they WILL come up in your games every now and then.

I feel like this is probably true for most ultimates. Don’t wait for the entire team, use it on a few people to ensure the team fight is won

Best tip in my opinion. There’s a specific range for every hero Sombra fights that benefits her. It’s not all the same. Learn those ranges. For instance, Sym at the end of her beam and right up in Torbs face because he gets melted quickly by her.

My teammates always get mad at me for solo emping someone and dont realise that securing a kill like that can begin and end a teamfight in seconds.
Its better to secure a kill, than to hold it waiting for 3-4 of them to group up.

I remember once I was playing on Hollywood and the enemy team figured out my location so their Orisa Genji and Cassidy decided to camp my translocator and I used the emp to kill them all while using the mega health pack to constantly heal myself, I won that fight and got POTG.

That final tip is just a great gaming tip in general. I learned it while watching pro LoL players play.

Seeing aoe ults get used on a 1v1 always frustrated me, but in the end of the day your ult is an expendable resource, so use it accordingly.

First tip is actually depending on the situation. If you're taking their attention, most of the time they will use their abilities to try and look for you and even leave the fight entirely just to look for you. That's what's happening when I play Sombra atleast.

I found this one person on the enemy team that would just hack us and didn't actually do anything else and it was so weird watching it. I was so tempted to help them out and message them it wasn't actually doing anything but I didn't want to come across as rude
