Life Inside a TOP CHINESE UNIVERSITY

Ever wondered what campus life is like in one of China's top universities?

I went to the prestigious Zhejiang University, in the city of Hangzhou, to check out what happens on an elite Chinese university campus.

Zhejiang Uni was founded back in 1897 and is considered one of the best universities in the whole of China. The campus is huge, and so pretty. When I say huge, I really do mean it. It's almost impossible to walk the entire campus, hence why you see so many students on bicycles. A lots of things are taking place across the campus, so, what is life actually like at an elite Chinese university.

How does this university campus compare to the university/college that you went to? Leave me a message to let me know. Thanks for watching, and stay safe and look after one another.

It is a surprise, welcome to our university. Zhejiang university has eight campuses, and all of them are pretty. Some of them have long history with historical buildings, and some of them are new and modern. This one is the biggest.

That university is so beautiful and peaceful! There is so much nature compared to buildings there~ It's impressive to see how well--maintained such a large place is!

The athletic classes offered in China are much more diverse and interesting. When I did mine in Taiwan years ago, I recall we only had a few choices such as Taichi and Volleyball. Now it seems students have a variety of sports classes to choose from: boxing, Qigong, Judo, Softball, all kinds of dancing classes, Yoga, Golf, Tennis Ball etc.

Hi Stu, didn't know you went to Oxford, were you working in one of the canteens?
Just kidding, of course. Love your channel and appreciate the work that you do.
Very pleased that you have gone to Hangzhou and shown us the Asian Games venues. One of the reasons I like your channel so much, and I think I speak for many others, is that your content is always so topical and relevant. Happy Mid Autumn Festival and happy Golden Week.

They really don't skim on physical fitness for for their people. I have never heard of compulsory physical exercise or participation in sports at uni level .

Stu, where did you learn your Chinese? I guess it's not at Oxford? You speak so fluently.
