Portenta H7 (M7 Core) MRI Debug

If you have a Portenta H7 board, you can start using the Debugging features right away with no additional hardware, to solve problems on the M7 Core.

The Portenta H7 core has a built in Monitor for Remote Inspection (MRI) tool which allows the advantages of hardware debugging on the M7 core, but without any external wiring or probes necessary.

Its as simple as all other Hardware Debuggers to setup in Visual Micro, and only requires a few small changes to your sketch.

Once we have the M4 Core also debugging in this way we will release an updated video, and we will be covering the external JTAG debugging soon in our series about different Hardware Debuggers.
