In our latest release we have made considerable improvements to the build speed in Visual Micro, so you can get on with the important parts of your project instead of waiting for it to compile..... Info and Links below....👇

In the latest release, available from our website (all IDEs) or the Microsoft Gallery (VS2022), the rebuild time of a project has been slashed, so it should now only take a fraction of a full build to build again, even if there are library and project changes.

I've been using Visual Micro together with Visual Studio for quite a few years now.
I'm firmly convinced that these two products are the best microcontroller development environment available today.

I am a beginner. How about the updates? I usually get a notice in Visual Studio that there are updates. This is not the case for Visual Micro. Am I doing something wrong? Of course, as a beginner, I'm very afraid of doing something wrong.

I can't see any difference by now with ESP8266 and ESP32. ESP compiling time is way too long.
