How to paint black NMM

How to paint black non metallic metal for your warhammer models and miniatures. I used a pauldron for an imperial fist space marine to demonstrate how you can use your brush to create a realistic black metal appearance.

I'll be honest. I half hate liking your videos, because I love them and know they'll come up more often for me. I used to paint mini figs but I was in an accident and no longer have the motor control I once had, so I can't put these tips to use.
For the record, I try to do craft projects as much as possible, focusing on my strengths and overcoming my limitations.

I personally would’ve dry brushed it to start, and then lightened or darkened what I needed after dry brushing. This looks great too though
