Chocolate Brownies

Super chocolate brownies for the weekend! Save this recipe or tag a friend- these are worth making over and over again! 🍫

For the brownies:
225g good-quality dark chocolate
225g butter
300g caster sugar
3 large eggs, beaten
1 tsp vanilla bean paste
100g plain flour
50g cocoa powder
1/2 tsp baking powder
Pinch sea salt

For the chocolate glaze:
100g of good quality dark chocolate
30g of butter
50g of icing sugar, sifted
75ml of double cream

12” x 8” diameter baking tin
Oven temp: 180c

Love me some Donal doing brownies first thing in the morning!! Here's a little hint I've learned along the way of making these...instead of using parchment in the pan, I use butter and cocoa powder. They never stick and the cocoa powder adds another bit of chocolate to the brownies.
Hopefully Noah is able to learn to love to cook just like his Dad and will someday make these for those he loves!!

Yum yum! The less flour the better! I accidentally discovered that once, when I was making blondies and forgot to add a second cup of flour! Once they set up, they were almost like toffee, super chewy and delish! My son now requests "one scoop blondies"! 👍💕🎂😁
