I'll take a V6 over a turbo 4 any day of the week

I tested both the 24’ Tacoma and the 24’ Frontier and I enjoy driving the Frontier better. 3 weeks ago I got a used 23’ Pro 4x loaded with Premium and everything else with 10k miles for 35k. I’m very happy with my Baja Storm color Frontier purchase.

After sitting in the new Frontier I was completely blown away by the comfort, logical layout, and fit and finish of the Nissan. Still waiting for a Toyota dealership to get the new Tacoma in stock. However, the TFL video of the Tacoma blowing out it's front end does not give me the warm and comfortable feeling going into that i thought it would.

Frontier all the way. V6, great automatic, love the feel of the hydraulic steering, very solid, smooth quiet ride.

My 2024 Frontier has been bullet proof so far.
Tacomas reputation for reliabilty is slipping for sure. Dont think a 4 cylynder turbo is going to help.

My money went to Nissan. In November 2023, I bought a 2023 Nissan Frontier SV 4x4 Midnight Edition. When I was looking at trucks I looked at Chevy Colorado, Ford Ranger, Toyota Tacoma, Honda Ridgeline and Nissan Frontier. The Nissan checked all the boxes. I wanted a V6, 4x4, full boxed frame, heavy suspension and hydraulic power steering. I wasn't looking for a lot of tech in a truck, but the LED headlights are awesome at night.

Dude a turbo is NOT going to outlast a V6 Nissan.

I just drove both. The Tacoma's interior resonance and drowning was terrible. The Frontier was quiet and much better riding. Nissan easily wins this competition!

I compared the two and bought the pro4x. Happy with my decision.

I’m going with the Nissan frontier mainly because it has the V6 engine without any of the turbo BS. It also looks much better and not nearly as cartoonish as the Toyota Tacoma.

Always been a tacoma guy. I have a 21 taco but I even think the Frontier beats the new taco. Because of the v6 and price. When I saw the Frontier for the first time I was liking that powerful v6 but the smaller size of the Frontier and lack of offroad goodies turned me away. I never thought the new taco would push me to the Frontier. For the price I have seen tundra for nearly the price of a new taco, something I can negotiate down and get a tundra for the price of the taco.

I think I'd go with the Nissan. I like the look of the new Tacoma, but would prefer it with the Nissan's V-6. Toyota also seems to be dropping the ball on reliability in their new pickups, which I'm sure they will fix over time. At the end of the day I guess I'm just not a fan of 4-cylinder turbos in a pickup truck. You know it's going to fail, you just don't know when or how soon.

Last year I chose the Frontier. Overall I'm very satisfied with it. It's comfortable with a lot of power. 😊

Nissan Frontier is built in the USA, Tacoma built in Mexico.

The Nissan looks a lot better than I remember.

No dealer will ever advertise their name on my tailgate without paying me a monthly fee. 😡

I'll take the truck that didn't go pop in some light off roading

I've always loved the Taco and had a new 2014 SR5 4x4, but if I had to choose again today, it'd be a Frontier for sure! Engine, looks, abilities, and price all seem to favor Nissan. I'll also bet on the longevity of the 6 cylinder as the turbo will need replacing long before the Nissan will need anything serious!

I really like both trucks but the price and turbo of the Tacoma was a hard no. 6 months in on a new frontier and I’m happy with my purchase.
