I ran Brighton marathon in the maxroad 5, the snobbery from some when said what shoe I did it in is staggering, speed beast and the 6 are on my shopping list when I can get them

Skechers running shoe UK supply is generally poor. Seemed to take ages for Max Road 5 to be readily available. Still in my Max Road 5 now. Hoping to see the 6 land here soon

Today I got the Go Ride 11 in size 13. Fit is perfect and comfortable. The shoes are not wobbly like the Max Road 6. I like the "hump" in the mid-sole since I have normal high arches. The "rocker" shape on the out-sole is much more pronounced . I like the blue color much more than black. I'll probably order a second pair of these.

Thank you for this review. Loved the MR5 and excited for the MR6. The MR5's combination of cushion, spring and an effective (without being too prescriptive) rocker really worked for me. Does the MR6 maintain the springy ride and rocker?

Great review, just come back from Florida and was hoping to find the Speed Beast while I was there but didn’t see them anywhere. I did manage to pick up a pair of NB More V3’s for $60 and they feel ok. Hopefully the Max Road 6 will be more readily available. Interesting that you have said you prefer the Max Road 6 to the Triumph 20, I have the winterised version of the T20 and was thinking of getting the normal version but might hold off until you release your 100 mile review of the Max Road 6.

Been running in these since they were the Ultra Road version. Looking forward to putting miles into this shoe for my fall marathon block and maybe using it for a 12 hour ultra race in late summer.

Sketchers performance have serious (swiss-) distribution problems. Youve compared nimbus25 to morev4 and said the nb is too soft. I feel like its the other way and i got both. Also besides the distribution, if they would give the perfotmance line a bit of a different look for the logo and fresh colorways (something different, innovative), i guess these shoes would be on a lot more feet to see...

Love the foam but don't get along with arch fit. I feel a bump under my heel which results in excruciating pain (plantar fascitis)

Love Skechers. Have all the Razor models. How about Skechers makes their shoes available in the EU too? It's not like it is a very small market.
I mean Skechers performance, not the other crap they are selling everywhere.

UK10 in my Maxroad 5 is 255g. No acceptable excuse for almost 100g increase in the new shoe. It now sounds far more niche whereas the 5 was more versatile and could pick up the pace. Sadly sounds a little like Skechers selling out a bit here and just falling in line with all the other heavyweight behemoths.... Shame...

One question: max road or go run ride 11?

Those two shoes seem to be exactly the same with just a little more foam on the max road 6.

Go run ride 11 seems to be more of what the max road 5 should have turned into when just talking about stack hight.

Weight wise should I just go with the go run ride 11?
