Gollum being Gollum for almost 9 minutes straight

Due to copyright issues the video does not include scenes from The Hobbit

Props to Andy Serkis. In preparation for his role as Gollum, he killed his own brother and hid alone in caves eating nothing but raw fish and orcs. He also wanted to stay in there long enough to hear another voice inside his head. That's commitment right there

Honestly it's a testament to the special effects department and Andy that more than 20 years later- GOLLUM STILL LOOKS ANAZING AND MOVES SO REALISTICLY.

Also the way he effortlessly shifts between menacing and genuinely scary to adorable is great work.

Smeagol didn't lie, he swore on the ring that he'd get them to Mordor, he got them there and then they went a different way to get to Mount Doom, so he did fulfil his promise
