Good observation on the asset light / low moat trend in magic formula stocks. Granted pharma companies might be an exception given that their intellectual assets might give them a decent moat for a while (while they have patents).

AMC Networks seems interesting based on how low a multiple it is trading at compared to future EPS projections. The Buckle looks attractive based off it's consistent FCF generation and reasonable multiple of earnings. I always love looking at the Magic Formula stocks and seeing if there are some lesser known companies worth diving into deeper - great video!

Sadly the Magic Formula has underperformed since 2014. Just like all the other systems like Dogs of the Dow etc it stops working eventually. What happens is that word gets out and everyone jumps on it, so it's self defeating.
