You are a good coach, you can explain your trade accordingly. Started playing tennis in 2004 at the age of 42 in a continuous manner. I don't have a personal coach, it is more on reading and watching tennis tips and matches on YouTube. I got improvements, but still I'm not fully satisfied with my:

• split steps rhythm
• lacking enough muscle and brain exercises for my: service, forehand, backhand, volleys, slices, overheads, lob stroke usually done with a personal coach or with a ball machine.
• I prefer single match than doubles, although I am 58 years old.

If only I started at my prime age I am confident I will be competetive, better be late than never. Watching your channel and applying in my actual 3 times a week session in court has positive result. Extending my appreciation for your channel, it is a big help for those who cannot afford coaching fee. Keep it up and all the best coach!

I am a wheelchair player in my 50s and returning to tennis after many years off. When I stopped playing as a young (able-bodied) adult, I was at the point of learning to keep my head down after contact. Once I learned that, everything else sort of automatically fell into place, i.e. pace, spin and placement were quite good.

Now in a wheelchair, movement is obviously a major issue, but I am having a terrible time tracking the ball and spacing myself correctly. I still have good form and, when I get a ball in my ideal strike zone, I can hit it pretty (damn) well. Problem is, of course, those balls come few and far between...

My goal is to be able to hit a clean ball, 90-some percent of the time. I pretty much only have casual rallies with a hitting partner as an opportunity to work on technique.

I'm working on deeper placement of my slice returns. In crytical moments (when I'm late to the ball) I drop the ball with a slice in the very center halfcourt (T-position). That gives my opponent an easy winner opportunity.

Quality explanation on progression. I am still working on the mental part when playing a match. Great tip about developing instinctive reaction under pressure . Thanks.Cheers!!

Great video on the progression of success integrating new techniques. I am currently trying to integrate the hammer shot... I hit a good shot, get a weak return and am inconsistent on putting the ball away. I'm almost there, and this is a great video to help me be patient moving forward. Thank you!!

I'm working on my serve. The toss is unstable. The first serve is better when I practice on my own over actual doubles play. I'm comfortable self feeding.

There is plenty to practise without a practise partner. Try simulating playing a whole match!!
