It's facts that the anime version of the Egyptian god cards are fearsome, their summon cannot be negated, they are unaffected by other monsters effects, they cannot be removed from the field, spell cards effects only last one turn on them.

It's very obvious that the winner is Yami Yugi/Atem for one simple reason: fate. Every time the other duelists use their signature moves (Elemental HERO, Synchro Summons, and Pendulum Summons) they are literally summoning them using the heart of the cards which is literally fate and destiny. So while all the other duelists might have stronger decks and monsters, if the cards themselves have decided to side with Yugi (which they almost always do), then he will have a massive advantage.

Technically that's not accurate as all the others now a certain type of summon such as xyz, fusion, synchro, pendulum whereas yugi only knows rituals summons and stuff so he would lose

Yugi vs Playmaker
Yugi vs Yuya
Yugi vs Yuma
Yugi vs Yusei
Yugi vs Kite
Yugi vs Yugi
Yugi vs Zark
All of these Atem loses. Although Yuya may have relied on action cards a ton, he still has a fairly decent deck. The dimension dragons aren't anything to joke about especially in the anime. Most of these were driven off nostalgia alone. Atem was good for his time but times change, no matter how much you want Yugi to win it won't happen against modern Yugioh characters. Even in the Atem's series he won most of his duels by cheating, taking advantage of the underdeveloped game rules, and writers having the opponent make bad plays (for example, Yugi v. Kaiba battle city). Yugi was good for his time but as time went on the game rules change and without Yugi being around to adapt his deck to the modern rules he will still be asking "what's a synchro summon?"
Things like this make my love for Yugi/Atem to continue to decline.

Bro did you even watch anything after DM? Yes Atem is GOAT in DM, but after that the whole game advanced so...unless Atem plays a very modern magician deck he will NOT STAND ANY CHANCE against Yusei, Yusaku or Jack

Yuysaki >> yami ( yuysaki can do everything yami do but better, he literally summoned accesscode talker without any monster in his hand or field)
