that ending always gives me shivers. Dimebag was an impeccable talent.

Disappointed. Expected Mr. Tabs but ended up seeing a perfect reincarnation of Dime’s unreal playing ability.

Had to get out the camo pants again for this one.
One of Dimebag's best compositions - what an awesome song, with a kick ass solo. And Jason absolutely kills it here.

It's a tough one to get all the details rights. We had to piece together how to play this one by searching through as many of the old live videos as you can find on Youtube. Jason absolutely killed it.

Sorry for the delay this week - there was a copyright issue.

Hope you enjoy playing along!

That precision of that solo was incredible. I have never heard it played so cleanly.

Cowboys From Hell was the first original metal album I've ever bought with my own money, back when CDs were still a thing in 2004. So many good memories attached to it, so much so that even the attitudes of a certain original band member can't tarnish.
Great lesson as always, you really did justice to Dime.

I remember an interview someone did with Dimebag about music theory and all. his response was along the lines of "heck no I couldn't play you a scale if you named it for me, I don't know any of that stuff". did his playing following the "rules" of music? yes...thats why it sounds so good. but, first and foremost, he did it because it sounded so damn good first. talent beyond talent.

I really love artificial harmonies at the outro. Hearing that the guitar can literally scream out loud is so awesome :)

This has to be the best guitar page on YouTube
One of my favourite guitar songs that I couldn’t find accurate tabs for or transcription for anywhere until now
Thanks Mr. Tabs🥰

Hitting the like button just doesn't seem to this do justice!
Honestly didn't expect to see this song covered with all the tabs too, thank you 👍
Those wammy wails at the end were epic 😎

Dimebag would be proud. Excellent, as always.

I've always played the main riff at the nut, the longer string length means the pinches will pop a lot more than at the 5th fret.
Dime also secretly (had his tech do the switching) used an open wah to boost the high frequencies of his divebombs.

This moment has finally arrived! I have been following you since 2020 and all this time I was hoping that someday this lesson would come out. Thank you Mr Tаbs!!!!

Ah, those screaming harmonics with a Floyd in the outro. I call those CC DeVilles because he loves just randomly throwing those in live solos. The best ones come with a salute. I think CC might have used Randall at one point as well (maybe first two Poison albums), he seemed to have played Crate live a lot back in the day, not sure if the Crate's were solid state. Tracii Guns from LA Guns used Randall on their first record, too, and possibly their second. Some classic stuff came from those solid state Randalls.

Awesome performance here.

People rave about the ending solo, but I absolutely adore the intro (well, not just the solo), it’s simple but so incredibly effective and heartbreaking.
