Note: This Heat Transfer lecture series (recorded in Spring 2020) will eventually replace the earlier Heat Transfer series (recorded in Fall 2015) in a couple years. The old lecture series had some errors and was lower quality.

This lecture series was recorded live at Cal Poly Pomona during Spring 2020. The textbook is "Introduction to Heat Transfer" by Bergman et al.

Simply appreciate how well Example 13.4 is written. Perfect to sum up the past couple lectures. Textbooks' not getting enough credits nowadays. It is hard to completely understand one thing, but it is even harder to turn it into a good question to challenge and train others.

Well professor, I wish you were my professor. For our exam our professor flipped the conditions that were on our practice exam. For the transient conduction problem we had a short cylinder instead of a long cylinder and for the radiation problem with and without heat shields we had an infinitely long cylinder 🤣
