The dude looked right into my soul.... and started mentally undressing me. And I know he didnt actually say it, but the first time I heard it, I swear I heard him say, “Move it up and down the SHAFT of the then im pretty sure I heard him tell us to place our pinkies into the ass of the guitar. Not sure if those were his exact words, but pretty sure it felt like thats what he was trying to say.

I don’t understand how ppl r confused. In fact I’ve been learning for almost a month now, and power chords confused me because no videos would explain the finger placements and this video actually described it well enough for me. I noticed his middle finger muting the middle string which threw me off but seeing the finger placement and seeing that it’s movable actually makes a bit more sense to me. He explained the basics quite thoroughly too. I don’t get the confusion. Just my take.

When I first wanted to start learning guitar someone taught me Don't Cry by Guns & Roses, and quickly inbetween E/Em and D.. looking back this was a great start it taught me a few chords, riffing, picking and strumming..
