Have you ever heard of a Cherry Hemangioma? Hint: It's another name for a "Campbell De Morgan Spot". Still confused? In this episode of DermTV, Dr. Schultz explains what Cherry Hemangiomas are.

Everyone can have beautiful, healthy, and younger looking skin, and DermTV, the Internet's daily skincare video show, will demonstrate how by revealing expert tips and techniques and by providing real solutions for real skincare issues.

Skincare (whether cosmetic or medical) previously required a trip to your dermatologist or a shopping spree at the pharmacy. And that's if you have a trusted nearby dermatologist or a local informed pharmacy. But not anymore. We at DermTV are committed to making best-in-class dermatology and skincare guidance accessible to everyone, anytime, at your computer.

Every weekday, our host, Dr. Neal Schultz, one of New York's most trusted and respected dermatologists (see bio below), teaches skincare's most timely and timeless issues. Topics include: the best at home techniques and new technology for facial rejuvenation, preventing and fixing sun damage from wrinkles to skin cancer, breaking news in dermatology, general skincare topics, and more.

I have had these starting since I was about 25. 28 now and I've got probably close to 40 or more between both my upper arms. It seems the research really hasn't been done for their presence in younger adults. Every place I've looked it seems many people under 30 get these but the top articles say they start at 30.

My dermatologist is 70+ seen it all during his career…I’m 31 had like 6-7 of them in the past 3-4 months.doc told me not to worry about them and they usually are passed down from one of the parents. He said not to worry they are harmeless and if I dont like them he can electrocauterize them(remove them)

Yeah these have made me pretty self conscious. I got my first one on my arm when I was about 16 and now at 29, I have about 10 of them in various spots. Never bothered to get em removed, but it is good to know that they are benign.

Could you add pictures to your videos, cause sometimes I have no clue what you mean. I think that adding pics will make your videos so much better.

Many many thanks doc. My wife had them on the back of the torso. Now her forearms has developed many tiny red spots which we think will get raised with the passage of time. We read some stuff on the internet regarding Cherry Angiomas and we thought that it is a form of skin cancer. We have been under strees since last few weeks . But we are not now. Thanks again .
