Jeff Lynne wrote and produced all of ELOs music. He is an incredible talent. He's currently on his final tour, and sounds just as good now as he ever did. At 77 years of age, that's pretty impressive. There are some acoustic tracks from his documentary in 2014 that are a good example. Unfortunately, the pianist from his band recently passed away. He was accompanying Jeff in the documentary.

"Telephone Line" is a song by English rock band Electric Light Orchestra (ELO).
It was released in May 1977. I was 10 years old at that time.
Electric Light Orchestra (ELO) are an English rock band formed in Birmingham, England. The group's name is a pun that references both electric light and "light orchestral music", a popular style between the 1940s and 1960s. ELO was formed out of Lynne's and Wood's desire to create modern rock and pop songs with classical influences. During the 1970s and 1980s, ELO released a string of top 10 albums and singles.

I just saw ELO back inOctober on what will be their last tour. Jeff Lynne is 76 years old, and still sounds as incredible as he did in the 1970’s. The minute this song started, I felt the tears coming. Absolutely one of the best live shows I’ve ever seen.
