One of the reasons Babymetal collabs work so well is the lack of ego between Babymetal and whoever they are working with, so their is no "competition" for attention. They share so well.

Back in my childhood i felt myself too young for metal and choreography focused bands were rather for girls. Babymetal is the perfect fusion of these two genres wich i can say this is a perfect match!

Su, Moa and Momoko all trained as idols (meaning they did acting, modelling, song and dance) and all shared a common start in an idol group called Sakura Gakuin (okay well not exactly a start as all were working long before that). But they had their idol training in SG. Also Momoko is the daughter of a famous Japanese comedian Okazaki Mitsuteru (Hakata Hanamaru) of the double comedy act Hanamaru-Daikichi Hakata.

Babymetal came up with that concept as they wanted to make a song like We got the moves to dance with the audience. But they felt it was missing something. So they asked Electric Callboy to feature. The rest is history :)

Even though they already played together this past weekend in Japan, they'll both be at the UK Download Festival and Rock am Ring in Germany next month

Watching the live versions of this song, you can REALLY tell these two bands/groups LOVED working with each other. I don't wanna spoil why, but there's a lot of dancing with each other, laughing, and hugs...sometimes DURING the song :)

Babymetal X EC Ratatata is such a PERFECT collaboration song!!! It's soooo good and most of all, FUN!!

I also highly recommend Babymetal collab with Bring Me The Horizon -"Kingslayer" live in Tokyo MV

Brilliant reaction. One of the best things about both groups is they will try any combination of genres, they dont limit themselves. Momo-metal does harsh vocals, the 2nd 'are you ready' when Kevin has the electric cables is her. I'd suggest Headbanger all three versions. 1st version is Su singing it all, the other 2 are MoaBanger with Moa doing 2nd half of song and Momobanger with Momo doing the same (it was for their 20th birthdays) and doing harsh!. Megitsune & Akatsuki s well. Oh and Monochrome 1st take piano version is Tears.
