So great to see Pasha giving it his all in this one. He's had some, um, interesting partners over the last few years and it's been easy to forget what a fantastic dancer he is. However Ashley is on fire here and you can see Pasha stepping it up and not holding back. Loved it. 8

Damn this routine is POWERFUL. Look i know Ashley is a dancer but doing the cha cha like THAT takes a whole ton of skill and confidence beyond just having dance experience. Crazy crazy. Keep watching this one on repeat.

C'mon girl! That's brilliant! There are so much cha-cha basics in this as well. Pasha did not go easy on Ashley even though the music is tempting him to go disco. He didn't fall into that temptation, and packed it with cha-cha from start to end. Love those NYs, lock-steps, cuban breaks. So cleanly executed! Surely, she's a pro! Another 8 (phew)!

Finally a performance to remind us what a Cha Cha can be. Pasha of course always choreographs great Latin dances and packs content in, structuring it well whilst still challenging his opponent. I feel like she could accentuate the figure of 8 and the parallel shimmies looked a little heavy but if repeated in the final this could get a full house. 8/10

Favourite dance of the night! I don't care how much dance experience she, or anybody else has, there is a mixture of experience every year and that's what makes it fun to watch! Anyway, there is a huge amount of talent this year amongst those who haven't done much/any dancing before. I do hope Pasha can stay in for as long as possible this time!

Get it girl! Show them how it's done! I don't care how many complaints of experience you get, you are slaying! Her lock steps and straight legs bewildered me, and she kept up time amazingly. I was fully expecting this to be a disco number too, from the set. Nope! A pure cha cha cha! Good job Pasha! And good job Ashley! 8!

She is a pro her cha cha walks are amazing and she has amazing rhythm and her new yorker is amazing but she can have bent knees sometimes but other than that it was amazing!!! *8/10*

OMG Ashley! This is incredible! Learning a routine that needs so much energy and skills is so hard. Of course there were parts that she was unsure of but this is the best week 1 routine I’ve ever seen and I’ve been watching since Jay McGuiness. I give her an 8!

She has the potential to be sooo good! Her fan was brilliant, outward facing feet too. Plenty of sass and confidence - the new yorkers were great as she sat into her knee! brilliant stuff! This reminded me a little bit of the old SCD where it was a proper competition with the amount of content they had in there and Pasha really going for it especially with his shout at 0:39 :)
