Tailwind's background image classes are weird, especially with React. You have to either add a padding p-96 or h-96 for it to even show up or use h-screen, otherwise it takes the height of its nested elements. Does normal CSS do that? I don't remember.

Tailwind is wild, love your tutorial, you tried to help but didn't work for me I had to do a mix of all things bg amd max w & h screen, what I'm saying is i basically toggled through most of the utility classes for images and background

I also have the same problems as Mr. Therichardchannel, I use laravel 8 w-full and h-full does not work, with h-96 and w-96 I can still see something, effect is not given.

How would I go about this problem: On mobile i have 1 bg image, but on desktop i need bigger one. I have src in my image but how do i change it dynamicly? Usually no problem in tailwind since u have sm, md etc utility classes but i cannot use these inside my image, i can only use them inside className...
