7 ate 9, that's why there's no 7 after 8. 7 became the 9.

I have EDS (hyper mobile type) and it sucks. My joints just come out of place sometimes and I have to put them back in. I’ve got tons of massive scars and stretch marks. I have chronic bone pain and I’m developing arthritis at only 23. I can’t walk up a few stairs some days. I wish people would see it as a disability, because that is what it is.

My uncle has Williams Syndrome. He loves heavy metal music and he is so friendly!!! He makes friends EVERYWHERE! At his 50th birthday party, I didn’t even know most of the people present! His parents didn’t know many of them, either!

I had no idea that my eyes were that cool, but that explains the weird looks I get when I point out subtle color differences.

They should create a superhero comic based off of these!

A clarification about the myostatin related muscle hypertrophy. As far as I know there are no proven cases in humans. The syndrome has been seen in cows, pigs and induced in laboratory in eagles but the genetic mutation that causes it has not been described in any human patient. Also, at least in bovines, it makes their life expectancy significantly lower as the heart, being a muscle, is also affected by the uncontrolled growth. A side note, there are some people that have been pointed out as having this syndrome, especially very muscular children, but I haven't found any confirmation of so. I accept and thank any contribution to this as I may be wrong on some points.

Dude, I can recall conversations I had back around 9/11... My memory is insane for someone with multiple traumatic brain injuries... I can tell you a conversation I had when I was 11m at the county fair, with my cousin, in exact detail... He definitely can't recall the conversation, but remembers fragments of the day because something my dad did... (Cousin and I are late-30s to early 40s)

I have something similar to Ehlers Danlos Syndrome called Ligamentous Laxity, but unfortunately the pain is so bad that it was only fun in my youth to bend and contort, and dislocate my shoulders, thumbs, and jaw for fun. Now I have to avoid even running in my thirties, since I could easily break my knees.

Damn i could never even imagine having the ability to relive all the worst memories for the rest of my life. Thank god I'm pretty normal if not dumb😚

Williams syndrome is me. And I love music, can play by ear, sing on cue/hear everything and I enjoy talking to people/don't fear anyone and am a great intellectual speaker.

I am a tetrachromat. I am a professional artist as well.😂😂😂 when I’ve been around people who are tripping on different substances and talking about what vivid colors that you’re seeing and all of this, I’m like, yeah that’s kind of how I see the world normally

EDS has multiple subtypes, you're describing hyper mobility type. It actually affects the entire body, and multiple systems. It is degenerative with no cure, and has few options for treatment. The pain becomes excruciating and chronic. People lose their teeth, get gastro paresis, dysautonomia, and have multiple comorbidities. Many become permanently disabled early in life, some have to have service animals, others caretakers. The mascot for the disorder is a zebra 🦓.
