this disease can also happen sporadically like every other prion disease, however it is rare like every spongiform (prion) disease!!

CJD can also be similar. The effects also include dementia. And they are both caused by prions. CJD and FFI are almost the same. GSS is more related to FFI as they are both famillial

Not me getting flash backs of A Spring Without You is Coming 😭 it is actually a horrible disease though. My mother suffers from insomnia due to her age and i experience trouble sleeping on the regular. However, to have such an extreme case of insomnia is horrifying.
