Store bought dish soap typically contains unwanted and unnecessary dyes and fragrances, you already know I try my best to avoid both whenever I can. And I’m always ready for a fun and simple DIY!

Here is my DIY Dish Soap Solution; it’s simple, cost effective, and 100% natural. Here’s how you make it!

Ingredients:
1/4 C Castile Soap*
2 C Water
5 Drops of Lemon Oil**
**Lemon Oil is a natural de-greaser and sanitizer, making it a great essential oil to have in dish soap!

Directions:
Combine all ingredients in a dish soap pump* or an up-cycled dish soap container.

Liquid castile soap
Washing soda
Borax
Sea salt
Turmeric (natural colorant)
Lemon oil for fragrance
Activated charcoal (optional dont mix with the turmeric)

I did this but over night it started to harden or separate I don't know how to explain it. How do I fix it I want this to work but I'm confused. By the way I am new to getting more holistic every day.

I’m definitely going try this. 👍🏼 Essential oils break down plastic, don’t they? I think glass container may be best if you have it on hand. Save your mason jars.
