I love how King Bob-omb is getting more representation via Tour, Golf, the Movie. He is the face of Mario 64 imo, and I think he'd be the only heavy-weight I wanna play. I very happy to see Kamek and Wiggler being in this wave too! And as a bonus reason for King Bob-omb: Know that Petey Piranha is a Sunshine character aswell, and King Bob-omb is a Mario 64 character, both games came via 3D allstars on the Switch, so they might wanna represent him for that aswell!

I’d like to see Funky Kong and Pauline as the final characters, but I wouldn’t mind Diddy Kong. I also hope they surprise us with Toad color selections like Shy Guy and Yoshi, but I doubt it. More styles would make the game feel more complete alongside with the new characters and courses.

Edit: Koopa Troopa deserves some color options as well.

I just want to point something out. Everyone’s assuming that there’s only 2 characters left to reveal because of the character selection screen. However, Nintendo NEVER officially confirmed that only 6 new characters will return. All they said was that “only previous characters from past games will return”.

Nintendo could absolutely pull a fast one on us and reveal a second line of 6 new characters.

According to the Wave 5 trailer, Kamek's coming from Tour, so we already kinda have a "Tour" character. I think Pauline and Diddy are most likely but we can never guess what Nintendo's going to do haha

I think, in the spiny cup, the third track is a nitro track so we could have a Mario odyssey track, which of course would come with Pauline.

Plus 10:03 Diddy was in MK Wii and Tour.
And 11:11 we gonna have a character from Tour which is kamek.

It’s a shame Nintendo hasn’t been doing much with Toadsworth, that character has so much potential in the franchise! Actually, I’m hoping soon to do a video that shows some characters I think should return to their respective franchises.

I’m hoping that we would get Diddy and Pauline. Recently, a couple of people online thought of the last 2 to possibly be Mallow and Geno thanks to Super Mario RPG getting a remake and they’re reappearing in the scene with it. Even though that’s pretty much very unlikely but it would depend on if they come to Mario Kart Tour before Wave 6 that is. R.O.B for me, though I would like to see him with the bottom row of Non-Mario characters, it’s probably not going to happen unfortunately (I would be surprised if they did add him to Mario Kart Tour though since they do have the Miis in the game currently).

I remember on the BCP launch day I saw the tracks and thought, “I don’t need to get that.”

I got it that same day, less than an hour later.

The leaked "mobDK" track is NOT Donkey Kong. In the files, "DK" is treated as a single word, so they wouldn't name it "DK", they would name it "D". Also it doesn't follow the internal naming convention for previous tracks (Ocean Ruins, Hill Climb, Ninja Mansion, Ice Building). It ALSO doesn't line up with any of the datamined upcoming tracks for Tour, where it would debut. MobDK's debut is associated with a lot of Daisy and Desert tracks, implying that "DK" stands for either Daisy Kingdom or Desert Kingdom, likely a Sarasaland course based on the setting of Super Mario Land.

If you REALLY wanna stretch and say it's a Kong track, it would be something like "Dinosaur Kingdom", but that makes no sense since the track isn't associated very well with the upcoming beach and jungle tracks in Tour.

I really hope that King Bob Omb gets added. He is one of the most iconic Mario enemies of all time, and he fit Mario Kart, while still being kind of an obscure pick, which is perfect for the game. Diddy Kong would then be my second pick

I have always loved the variety of enemies in the Mario Games and I really hope they add more Enemies to Mario Kart like, Hammer Bro, Monty Mole, and Charging Chuck.
