« When I heard 'My Star', I knew from the first chords that it was going to be my favourite track. It's a special song that perfectly captures the different emotions you feel at the end of FFXVI, as well as those of the characters. Tsukino-san and myself wanted to take on this wonderful music since we recorded Lunar Serenade earlier this year. And today, I would like to express my admiration for this brilliant pianist who has a classical music training and who has taken the time to study jazz in order to broaden her spectrum and be able to offer such a beautiful arrangement. It was once again a great pleasure for me to sing with Tsukino Crystal and I sincerely hope we can actually play together one day. Thank you. »

Also, you'll notice a few scenes from the ending cinematic of the game in the video thanks to Rykorio, who has managed to create something very melancholy and unique in a very short space of time. This kid is talented!
Last but not least, I'd like to thank Sumashu who took care of the mix. He was so cool to work with and I can't wait to force him to mix new projects.

I listened to this song on SE official channel, and I was like "I need to search it on Spotify rn". And without noticing and knowing, the first one that came from my research was your cover and I listened to it while doing something. Tears fell down from my cheeks, your voice and the way you carry every words, notes, that was spectacular. Never been happy to find a new singer, thank you so much for this cover. Yup, I knew it, I cried. Damn, what a duo! You two took the jazz of the original and turned it on to 200%. It's like it was meant to be like this from the start.
It also feels like it was truly made for piano + voice and that anything else would be too much. Tsukino's talent really shines here.

As for your singing, it really feels like you're completely in your realm here. I mean, it's obvious jazz is home to you, of course, and it shows! That allows you to showcase your whole range and technique in a fantastic way. The result is amazing.
Love the work on the backing harmony past the 2:30 point, it feels very subtle and it brings the piano and voice together so well for the climax of the song.

Kudos to Sumashu by the way, the mixing is on point. And let's not forget Rykorio too, the editing was great, love the ink drop effect at 2:30!
