My right foot is a little crooked, and a bone on the inside part of my ankle sticks out. This makes it hard to get a good skate fit, because it causes me to lean more on my inside edge while standing up, instead of having it the balance equally on both edges. My left foot is fine. Do you have any suggestions for it? It's very appreciated!

Thank You for this video totally relaxing on the brain. I wish a lot of YouTubers videos were like this not hit that like button and subscribe button before you even get a chance to watch. Your video just opened my eyes to sizing skates I have been out of skating and hockey for 35 years and don’t know squat jack squat about sizing or quality of skates anymore . And to say the least I have subscribed and like your video.

I'm a size 13 shoe with a wide foot I don't ice skate anymore but I wanted to get back into roller hockey a little bit every skate I see says size 12 but US 13.5... How true to size are skates? I haven't ice or bladed in forever. But wanted to get back into it.

here is the main problem i am having with fitting. I have a pair of Vapor Shift Skates, they are 4 years old and have recently bought new skates. I am in a size 10.5  shoe, and my skates are 9.5 EE. They fit fine, my big toes are almost to toe cap by judging by taking out the insole first. I tried on Vapor skates and because they are D or EE the D were way to narrow in the foot. I bought Vapor x100 skates 9.5EE and it seems that they are bigger than the Shifts I bought years ago. Looking at the vapors you put on I find by looking at your skates they look VERY similar in the fit and area around the top of tongue and achilles. My shifts seemed to hug my leg around my Achilles but still had space. When I look at your skates they fit me very close to the same and it appears you have a lot more room around that area, not much of a hug. I am an advanced skater, and play 5 days a week. I am not sure what to do about these skates.

Taking the sole out was a genius idea idk how I didn't think of that...after seeing this video i literally had to get a full 1.5 sizes down from the skates I bought. I'm returning them as we speak

I wasn't sure if the skates I bought were too small or not. I didn't want to use them before I was sure if they were too small. My toe just barely touches the end of the toe box. So you have confirmed my fit is correct. I was afraid if I went up a size they would be too big.

I have been using my CCM Vector 04 (7.5E) for many years till it has broken recently and I am planning to get a RibCor 44k! But I realised they no long have E, but only size D and EE. Will the difference between E and EE very big?

CCM size 7.5E for me is slight tight at the side of my feet.

Yo, i dropped down 2 sizes and my toes still don't touch the end. I take out the insole and my foot fits perfectly like in this video, just a tiny bit of space at the very end. I'm guessing it must be close to touching, am i cool? Should i have gone down 2.5 sizes?

im sorta in a dilemma. Because the skate i have now is size 8, but its litterally 0, 1cm too short in the toe area and too small on other areas aswell, but the 8.5 would be 0, 3 cm too long, however i should go for the 8, 5 then right??

It causes more wear and tear that way pull out wards to the sides because it causes less wear and tear and also the skate molds towards your foot better

After every game the arch of my feet start hurting ALOT. The pain is almost unbearable for about 2 minutes. Im assuming the skates heavily compress my feet and when I get my feet out, they decompress and cause pain. Is that normal?

Guys I just tried on the Bauer 2x pro and my toes where just nipping the top of the skate, but I found with the new toe cap I could feel my toes when I bend and keep them straight out hit the upper part of the toe cap!!! Is this what that new toe cap is suppose to do? Keep your foot from moving ???
