For how the score affects your admission, I think the scores should be switched to fit with your example. So, a score of 1-2 would be positive, not 5-6 because 1 is the highest score.

Your videos are the best. I can always relate it to my daughter's situation. Concise, to the point, I am learning so much from your videos.

Hey! I’ve been dancing for 13 years and train near 20 hours a week. However I don’t compete and I don’t have any National/international recognition. I’d say I have skill in dance and hope to minor in it, but I don’t think the arts supplement would necessarily benefit me according to your description. What should I do if I still want to showcase that I dance? Like attach a video/photo resume or something? Thanks!

Could you perhaps do something pertaining to research supplements that are optional at schools like Harvey Mudd, UMN and MIT?

Yes Part 2!! I've played the classical piano for 11 years but I don't have a lot of notable awards. I really dedicated a lot of my time to this should I submit an arts portfolio?

I simply asked the actual visual performing arts Instructor at my school, and they will confirm to submit or not to submit ...for definate opinion you can just head over to the local City College and ask Professor of specific medium

What If I'm applying for computer science and almost all of my extracurriculars are related to I draw and paint on the side but haven't really done anything with them. I have a lot of pieces but didn't really think to put them in any galleries or to get awards. Should I try to do this now? Will an art supplement hurt me if it's not related to my major? I was thinking submitting one would somewhat make me "unique" because most CS people aren't interested in the arts. Any feedback would be great! Thanks :)

Hi! I have a very important question. I have been privately trained in fine arts for the last ten years and I am an international student applying to stanford. Should I submit all 10 pieces of my art in the same media ( oil paint) or in different medias ( colour pencils, acrylics, etc. ) ????

Hello. I was confused that what makes up a level 1 supplement? Is it the difficulty of the song you're playing, the uniqueness of your style or what?

I am a pianist (playing since about 6 years) but I don't like playing classical songs rather covers of pop songs. Do you think i should be submitting a supplement?

I am a dancer and I also sing in the same level like I dance, so is it suitable to include 2 of my ecas in one art supplement considering they only send it to one of the departments to rank or is there any option of giving two art supplements separately?

I have a question whether if I should submit an art portfolio(even with good scores) if I am not planning on to majoring in any Arts program. My intended major is Economics and I want to submit some vocal performances. I don't know if the admission counselor is going to "assume" that those applicants will be majoring in Arts later on. This is especially hard to determine for the universities which does not require us to declare a major during the admissions process. I am not sure if what you say to not send supplements if music is just hobby applies to people who are looking into majoring music in college or anyone in general.
