The Kelty Trail Ridge 3 is a great tent for one or two people. Although it can be used for 3 people to sleep, it is better suited for one or two people. I have used this tent while it rained a lot, and no rain got into the tent, not even a drop! It's mesh walls and top vents also really kept condensation away! The two vestibules are great for storing gear while saving room inside the tent! I highly recommend this tent!

Thanks! I've used this tent for probably about 10 nights now. It has worked great, and is still like new, it's holding up well and very easy to put up and down. Keeps rain out as well every time!

Well cooking alone takes up about 3 hours of the day (1 hour for each meal). We make awesome food while camping. Rest of the day and night we pretty much listen to music, go on a hike, swimming, make videos, or just sit around and drink some beer. I've never really been bored at all while camping.

have looked a ton of tents and looking fora tent for me and my dog who is bit skittish/ anxious and can't be in crate. Looks like good tent just wish the sides were a bit more covered with bottom material oh well looks good.thxfor awesome video.

This tent is freestanding, so I can actually lift it off the ground and it will keep its shape! I also have a footprint for this tent (basically a 2nd removeable floor). So when I am done camping, I take out the footprint, and shake it off, and the tent is clean as is usually because of the footprint; however, if there is some dirt in there, I can simply lift up the tent and shake out anything that might be in it. Very simple. I always use a tarp so the bottom of the tent stays clean as well

Really like the look of this tent and have been looking at this vs an Alps lynx. I really like the brow pole. But am concerned about my dog and whether he might think he can push through the mesh. How durable is it? you do an awesome video and make me want to go camping soon.

Random ask, but i did watch this before buying the trail ridge 3, so thanks for the review. I don’t know if you still have this tent, but i lost the ridge pole connector (the non-x one). Kelty can’t give me the specs, which is insane to me. But if you still have it and could give me the pole measurement and number of sections i would be very grateful so i could get a replacement made since Kelty is just unable to help. Thanks

That's so much easier than i thought it would be! I know on my tent it doesn't keep its shape too well so i end up going in there with a vacuum cleaner.

Good review. I like how you showed the layout inside. Seems very roomy. Did the tent come properly sealed? Did you do anything extra to prevent water leakage?

is there any reason you would not be able to use the rainfly without tying out the lines to the rainfly just asking to see if I could reduce a triping hazard
