@jaguarxjrs15 I think it was a direct order from Sir Lyons himself that the XK engine should 'look good', hence the wonderful polished cam covers. No to mention that glorious rasping engine note as you open it up.

@jaguarxjrs15 The 3.8 litre straight six 'XK' lump to be precise, Brit spec, with the triple SU carbs.
