The anubis destroying you around the 1 min mark, along with the snap noise, made me laugh a bit more than it should have.

Would be interesting if the spider pal is a mount with wall crawling that doesn't cost stamina like it does for the player, allowing you to traverse any terrain without needing a flying pal to ascend.

As for base building, I'd settle for new pieces like triangular foundations and ceilings so that you can more reasonably hug the circular limits of a base area (assuming you haven't just turned off building degradation). The fact that be default structures degrade outside of the base zone which is round and all construction is square makes it a little annoying at times to be space efficient. They have triangle pieces to flank stairs and roof pieces, so I'd like to see the same done at the horizontal level so that not everything needs to be 90 degree angles. Also something that can function like railings. I want to make a balcony which doesn't need to stack benches to make it not just a few ceiling tiles sticking out from the building.

Fenglope is also my favorite ground mount pal. Fast, graceful, the best double jump, and it's not so big it gets caught on the environment riding in a dungeon either. Flying pals are great for getting around quickly, but it feels more like actual exploring on the ground.

If you look at the Red area clip where the black puppy things are being shot at you can see mount obsidian in the backdrop including the boss tower. My speculation is that the Red area is the furthest south and that the island extends north towards Sanctuary 2 and SJ island. The initial concept art had the big tree at the center so it doesn't make a ton of sense to extend southward from the current map if they still have that vision. based on other clues i'm expecting it to be Red-Yellow-Purple-Blue from south to north with purple being center mass and the elevated area with the boss tower; likely west of Sanctuary 2.

If you saw the teaser for today there is a new Egg Incubator that has me super excited. we dont know its function yet, but if it allows for mass egg incubation without all the clicks at the normal incubator it will revolutionize endgame.

as far as pals, I'm most excited about the blue thunder horse that is right behind the spider in the concept art. My hope is that its going to be an upgraded version of Univolt with movement similar to Rayhound or even Frostalion. Univolt and Beakon are both pretty lackluster for the damage conversion pals so having an upgrade would be really welcome. plus I'm a Monster Hunter player and its giving me Kirin vibes.

I'm exclusively a hardcore only player. The perma death option is certainly surprising but welcome news. I just hoped there was more to hardcore play such not able to switch to lower difficulty, achievements, challenges, etc.

6ª tower boss confirmed to be Bjorn and Bastigor and there will be a new alien raid boss called Xenolord, confirmed in Steam Achievements.
