Creed is a multi-platinum, Grammy Award winning American rock band from Tallahassee, FL. In 1997, members Scott Stapp, Mark Tremonti, Brian Marshall, and Scott Phillips recorded their debut album My Own Prison beginning an epic string of albums earning Creed multiple spots on various Billboard charts, a Grammy for Best Rock Song (2001’s “With Arms Wide Open”) and the rare RIAA Diamond certification for selling 11 million albums of Human Clay. In 2004 the band went on an official hiatus with Stapp venturing into solo work while the remaining members formed Alter Bridge. They reunited in 2009 for a tour in support of their fourth album, Full Circle.

Across their releases, Creed have sold 28 million albums in the U.S. and 53 million worldwide. They are credited as being the 9th best-selling artist of the 1990s.

This is hands down the best creed album ever and people who hated creed never really heard this album they only heard the more radio played songs this album was darker and heavier and every time i would play this album for those people they would like creed more

People talk trash about this band but there's nothing wrong with Creed. Solid sound. Strong vocals. Creed is awesome. Mark Tremonti by himself is worth listening to these guys.

Very important album during my formative years

First album is great. I got it when it came out in 1997 I was in 4th grade. I worn the crap out of that tape. I Still go and bust out this album every once and awhile. Great riffs great unique sound. Say what you will about there later material you cannot deny the masterpiece class of this album.
