Possible how to fix quest 3 facial interface.

For I'm trying to look for why it's not sliding good, like each time I slide without pressing the button it easily goes I don't have a problem with the metal piece, just trying to figure out why it's easily sliding

After removing the facial interface today in order to better install a new head strap, the left button got "weak and flimsy" after reinstalling the facial interface. I pulled it further from the lenses, thinking that it might've become stuck between 2 of the positions... and it literally became stuck, I couldn't press it down anymore.
Had a lot of trouble trying to pull the facial interface off the Quest 3 again, it felt like I couldn't pull it off anymore without totally breaking it.
Followed your instructions and found out I couldn't pull the 2 pieces of the interface apart because something was stuck on the left side. Noticed the button was totally gone, I could see the shiny silvery "rail" through the hole! After a whole hour of prying it using a slim steel ruler, I finally managed to pull the 2 pieces apart.
Hell if Meta used crappy engineering with this interface... the button is held in place by an extremely thin rubbery band that's attached to the plastic with some sticky glue... but hey, I managed to put it back in its original position and it's working again now! Hooray!

I have a problem about the facial inter face too but it's not a missing pin, For some reason the button just doesn't work with the leveling system.Got any tips on how to fix it?

Quest 3 faceplate sucks. It brakes from the 2 plastic spots you just showed at the beginning

i pushed the button for ajusting size and i pulled really hard then it snapped right back into place and worked again💀💀💀

fix: buy amvr facial interface and buy kiwi design headstrap your quest is now as comfy as it can be

I managed to fix it. the metal clip you saw on the inside piece ratchets into the other piece
you press the button and wiggle it in until you feel it go together

for me the steel thing was broken off on both hole. I used glue gun for fixing
