Lol I'm a beginner. Tried doing my small wooded half bath floor with a orbital sander. That didn't work. So I bought a belt sander. It's working but it's only using half the belt. Why?

LOL. You put the belt on backwards in the first segment, opposite the direction of the spin. However, good advice overall, despite that minor oversight.

Ironic that the instruction on keeping level side-to-side shows he's be running it heavy on the LH side. 1:21 I was hoping a pro could show me how to NOT do that.😆
Same for front-to-back rocking. 1:38 he's wheelieing the whole time.

This is a common sense thing and get really tired of hearing it even though you feel you need to 'put it out there' just to cover yourself from an idiot who doesnt have any common sense. Most of us know about it, so why, other than one reason stated, bore us with the obvious?
