I shared this with my friend and we were able to have a proper conversation about the way she’s been avoiding meeting up and posting photos and avoiding mirrors, it’s helped so much, thank you

Jem, thank you so much for your speech. I have witnessed several persons harm themselves indirectly using beauty products or other medications in attempts to fix what they think is a flaw in their body. As someone looking on the outside and who has had body image issues in the past, it saddens me so much when I witness the harm this disorder can cause. I appreciate your story and coming out to tell us something which takes so much courage to speak. Thank you.

That’s a great speech. I really appreciate you are talking about this topic in front of the audience. People should know more about it.

Brilliant speech, do you offer private therapy or group therapy classes? Where can I find out more?

Why do people judge according to our appearance? I think everyone already know that the beauty is inside.

Hilarious! A bird lecturing others on accepting your own physicality, yet clearly has gone in for cosmetic 'enhancements'. Ooh the hypocrisy!

I recall some time ago taking you out for your tea, possibly Haworth, I can't quite remember. However I do remember you probing me on my financial standing. And when my answers weren't to your satisfaction you rolled your eyes and muttered to yourself 'why can't I just meet a guy who's got money..'
Yup, typical bird.
