my toyota safety system saved me from t-boning someone who was running a red light across me. i saw him, decided to brake, and my foot was 1/2 way between from accelerator to brake pedal when the car decelerated for me . i am a Toyota customer for life!!

Thanks Steve. Good drive. Thank you for helping to further understand the adaptive cruise control..I have a short 6 mile highway commute that does not need that but your drive is a good teaching experience.

Haha man those RAV-4s are tiny. You looked squished in. My wife was considering getting one and I told her I couldn’t fit in one. She didn’t believe me. We looked at a new one on the lot and tried to test drive. I’m 6’4” and when I tried to get in the passenger side my head hit side of the roof. I had to lean over very uncomfortably to get in the seat and then my head was pushed against the ceiling.
She was laughing and said, ok, I believe you now. Haha.

How do you increase the volume of the alerts for safety sense?

I still don't understand how the car can tell if ur holding the steering wheel or not? Sensors in the steering wheel?
By the way you can demonstrate the PCS using a dummy car . I have seen this in some videos

Hi Steve does pcs really works? I worked for a delivery company and one day i delivered a LC300 2022 model and upon parking the car it suddenly activated the break itself i don't know if i bump into something but i wasn't able to check the car because i was in a hurry catching up my deliveries.
