Just like to express my gratitude to Tina Bovermann for her profound words at this moment as we mark the death of Jean Vanier. Just as his life was "not about him" so his death is not about remembering what he has done..listing his achievements ..praising his unique gifts..It is about glimpsing that mystery that invites us all to become human through the encounter with the other. This conversation between Ms Bovermann and Ms Dulle is indeed a model for what such an encounter looks like.

What a fall he had! Who would have even dreamed that such a man could do such things !? Human nature is sinful to the core!
