Bio: Ruslan KD is a Christian YouTuber of Armenian descent who was a refugee from Baku, Azerbaijan, before moving to the United States as a child. He started his YouTube channel in the mid-2010s, which has since grown into a popular platform for discussing faith, lifestyle, and music. Known for his insightful commentary on Christian living, culture, and personal development, Ruslan has built a community of followers who value his thoughtful approach to contemporary issues. In addition to his YouTube presence, Ruslan is a speaker, author, and advocate for godly ambition, often addressing topics related to leadership, mental health, and the integration of faith in everyday life.

Our mission is to encourage, empower, and inspire people to live a life that Blesses God, in accordance with His word. As the Psalmist proclaims, "Bless God in the great congregation, the Lord, O you who are of Israel's fountain" (Psalm 68:26 ESV), and "Every day will I bless Thee; and I will praise Thy name forever and ever" (Psalm 145:2 KJV). Just as Simeon, after encountering Jesus, "took him up in his arms and blessed God" (Luke 2:28 ESV), we seek to lead others in a life of stewardship, relevant engagement, and practical living that honors and blesses the Lord.

When I first watched this after becoming a Christian, the part that struck me was when it was raining on Bruce while he was on the couch and God is right there.

Bruce: “How do you make someone love you without interfering with free will?”
God: “Welcome to my world son. You find an answer to that, you let me know.”

Of course, the real God knows the answer but I’m sure that’s the frustration God feels about all of us all the time.

Bro I know you are not from the US but in the Old McGuffey readers which were the standard school books in US schools, the Bible was taught right alongside grammar and math. I used to have one from the 1880's that I picked up in a thriftstore in Ohio. So what you see in Little House on the Prairie, where the schoolhouse was in the church and the Bible was taught right alongside subjects is absolutely historically correct. 😊

@Ruslan KD thank you for sharing this video, as my husband and I through a very difficult season since last year. We have lost so much and it came as I knew and accepted that God wants me to help our church start an online ministry for disabled, shut ins, and chronically ill, that can’t make it to services regularly. There have been so many attacks, financial crises, health crises, yet through it all, I see it as having been a preparation time to help people. I, myself, have dealt with 2 neurological conditions, of which have no cure outside of God. His has gotten me to a place that I can serve in music ministry about once a month, but I truly believe there’s more. I welcome your prayers dear fellow brother in Christ Jesus. Thank you for all your encouragement!

This is so good. 100% resonates with me. A couple months ago I kept waking up at 4:40. It happened a few nights in a row before I finally clued in, that it was the HS. I thought maybe it was a chapter 4 vs 40. Then I started reading verses that said “For 40…” “God sent rain for 40 days” 40 is mentioned 150 times in the bible. 40 represents testing trials. There are 39 chapters in the Old Testament, then the new testament starts. I’m turning 40 this year. Been married 18 years, 3 kids, failed businesses, put our business dreams on the back burner to work 9-5 and be a soccer mom, do our due diligence for our family. Now both my husband and I feel like we are entering a new season. We are just getting started! Those years have produced resilience, perseverance, perspective, wisdom, hunger for the Lord, the refining of our character in the fire. (We also had a literal house fire) Not to mention all the practical skills we’ve learned. God is so good. I’ve learned that as you spend time in the presence of God, your will and desires are aligned with His will.

Jesus said in Matthew 7:21, "Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord Lord, " will enter the kingdom of Heaven. But he who does the will of My Father Who is in Heaven will enter."

I feel like God answered my prayers. I have been trying to reconnect with God. I have a lot of struggles, goals, dreams, passions... but I have felt so empty and unmotivated. I felt like everything was meaningless. I still prayed almost every day for him to take me in his hands and help me navigate through my struggles and dreams. I'm just tired of being unhappy and empty. Everything I desire feels like I don't deserve. It's hard but the Lord is speaking to me and I am staying persistent. I know his time is perfect. Pray for my journey 💜

We had prayer in the classroom and reading from the Bible in Canadian public school until 1985

God has always answered my prayers and deep down I have guilt for this. I don't know why, but I am grateful and ashamed at the same time.

I actually support Bruce Almighty, when I was a kid that movie helped me understand “free will”. The fact that the main plot point is that God can’t MAKE us love Him. We have to CHOOSE to love Him.

It’s great.

Also, in regards to teaching religion in classes, they actually still do that in some towns in Germany.

And those towns are way more peaceful. I think they stopped putting faith in school around the 80s

As someone who had a tumultuous background with Christianity and the church, I physically recoil when anyone talks about laying my life down to carry some cross. That's because where I come from, such language was used to exploit the yearning hearts of our parents and also almost led to the severing of familial bonds within my family and the destruction of my sibling's life. I only got away from that by focussing on myself and working towards a career so I can be in charge of making my own decisions. However, listening to this gives me hope that I can possibly truly understand what living for God truly entails, without having the false definition that was planted into my mind and life clouding my thoughts. I watched people throw away familial relationships, financial responsibility to their kids and spouse, sense of self, identity, personality, goals, drive, etc. for the sake of the church. I swore to never be that way, and maybe I don't have to be to live the way God wants me to. I can be the type of person I imagined (in some capacity) myself being within the grander scheme God has for me.

I grew up in the UK and at school we had ‘assembly’ everyday, twice daily . We sang God centered songs and popular rhymes every day . I was shocked when I found out, in my 20’s that they stopped doing this .
Hindsight is 20/20 . Looking back now it was definitely the start of the decline .
Whether someone believes in Christianity or not, the core principles of faithfulness and family were a solid rebar in every community. Albeit not perfect, but I’d take the issues of the 80’s and 90’s any day over to current atmosphere we have today .

an excerpt from the song "30 pieces of silver" by Theocracy

What's the price you've named?
Well, is it money, power, acceptance, or fame?
And will you sell out for a temporary gain
Or dare to stand up undeterred and unashamed
And let the glory fall to whomever it may?

When all the world is asking you to sell your soul
And to deny the cross for silver and for gold
The kiss of Judas or the bended knee?
Vainglory or humility?
The ultimate goal

All the treasure in the world so blinding
30 pieces of silver shining
Tell me what's the price you seek
To place the kiss of death upon His cheek?
Blood money and the serpent winding
30 pieces of silver shining
Treasure fades away
Sold out for the price of a slave

My catholic school used to host a public school for religious studies everyday. They would come to my school, have religion class and then go back everyday

God blesses the Just and the Unjust. If you're following God for personal Glory or to make Profit. Stop. You follow God for the Promise of his Eternal Love. Everyone is where God wants them to be. Be where you are meant to be.

We had the national anthem, the Lord's prayer and a Bible reading every day in school when I was growing up. It was a public school, not Christian.
