Here we are in June and True Lavender is blooming! Which means it's time to celebrate Lavender and its essential oil with a Plant Talk video! This video takes you into the garden to learn Lavender growing and trimming basics. But then the rain comes—so we head to the front porch to discuss key therapeutic applications of Lavender essential oil as well as the fabled origin story of Lavender and modern aromatherapy. Then we wind down our time together with a few minutes of poetry for inspiration.

Lavender is near-ubiquitous in the flavor & fragrance industries, including home and body care products. Why? It does so MUCH. But TRUE lavender is not what you will find in most of the aforementioned items. True Lavender and its essential oil are soft, demure…subtle. Join me to learn more….
