I was afraid my Lima Bean Plants had some fungus on the leaves or something. Then, I noticed that is just the color of the first leaves. Here is a video showing the new leaves coming. Growing your own vegetables is fun and anyone can do it. You don't have to be perfect.

Mine are supposed to be a bush variety but at a month so far they totally seem like a vine.

Thanks for this! I already knew about the cotlyedon leaves from my pepper and tomato seedlings. Still, hearing they turn white gives me a "heads up"!

A tip about the slugs - if you are still dealing with them, try some beer and a pinch of yeast in a shallow container just soil surface level. Slugs love it. Will last a couple of days, then empty and replace the beer and yeast!

Mine are planted in a row in my 42x42 raised bed (I only have about 30ft x 50ft in my backyard) and have just sprouted their cotlyedons. I am going to try some more in grow bags
