Vader didn't destroy Alderaan, he didn't even suggest that planet or relay the order...nor did the Emperor. Moff Tarkin made that decision. Also, in the books, Palpatine thought it was a mistake to pick Alderaan because of the favor they held in the senate.

I love how you had Vader go out heroically. Too many people justify his actions or ignore them all together. Two decades of torment and pain on the innocent cannot be ignored.

Idk why so many people keep saying that Vader destroyed Leia's planet when it wasn't even Vader who ordered its destruction. If memory serves Vader just happen to be in the room when it happened, he literally just sorta stood there while the guy who was ACTUALLY in charge ordered the destruction of her planet. Heck I don't even remember if Vader even said anything that entire scene, I distinctly remember him just sorta standing there menacingly the entire time.

Technically, Tarkin was in command of the Death Star. He gave the order to destroy Alderann, not Vader. In the new canon, Vader didn't have Owen and Beru killed, he didn't even know they were the ones raising Luke. Other than that this is great!

Luke: But Ben, you told me Vader betrayed and murdered my father.
Vader: *WHAT?!*

- What if Darth Vader discovered that Leia was his daughter in A New Hope?

- What if every force user in the galaxy suddenly lost their connection to the force during the Clone Wars?

- What if Alderann had a giant mirror that deflected the laser beam back to the Death Star?

- What if Watto was the chosen one?

- What if the senate refused to give Palpatine emergency powers?

- What if Obi-Wan and Anakin left the Jedi Order to work at Dex's diner?

- What if Anakin was defeated by the younglings?

- What if Obi-Wan died after jumping out of the window of Padme's apartment?

This is absolutely unique, Mr. Pente Patrol. I love Vader choosing the redemption path but, simultaneously, holding accountability for his actions on what he did to innocent people he killed and tearing up a bit for this indeed an emotional story.
