Jesus, this is the best bass gear advice I've ever heard from anyone. I expected a virtuoso, but I did not expect a bass player to know all the physics involved and to advise that we sound check based on that information. Maybe people have a practical sense, and maybe people have a good theoretical knowledge, but I don't find many who turn theory into practice so beautifully.

ampeg svt 7 pro with a 4x10 neo cab at 4 ohms, handles the 7 pro on wheels. with a boss eq 200. , switching mids and eq for each bass.

Often putting your mids and highs thourhg a 15 rather than an array of 10s will sound better as you will get less off axis comb filtering.
