I just read Fortunate Son, by John Fogerty, he says if there was any song he would play for someone maybe from Mars it would be this song,   he believes we are all connected and this song really says it all,   first time I have heard it, but since reading his book I want to know allot more about his music after Creedence broke up, I recommend this book of his,   His true story of what really happened, why, etc,   and it ends with Mystic Highway.  <3

I have always loved CCR since I was a kid. Grew up listening to Fortunate son and I’m in my late 30’s. I didn’t get into John Fogertys solo career. But I knew of some of his songs like “Centerfield”. Im just now finding this song for the first time. And it’s fucking awesome!!!! Can’t stop listening to it.
