✎ Hello, I have returned for a season!! As you can guess, I saw The Wild Robot, twice actually. (And if you haven't seen it, you should watch this gorgeous and heartwarming film) Its so HTTYD coded, specifically the first movie. However, seeing its one of the same creators, Chris Sanders, its no surprise really. I've been so excited for the film and it did not disappoint!

Editing this felt sooooo nostalgic! I kept it very simple seeing its been awhile since I've edited, but it felt good to just edit honestly. I even went back and watched a lot of OLD httyd vids from thefanvideoer2, my circle friends, and other oldies to get warmed up. So many fond memories..... I could have easily made this exclusively an HTTYD 1 vid and lean into it being Chris Sander's films but I couldn't resist adding some lovely flight scenes from the others so its 88% HTTYD1 ;)

This video is no profit, all the credits and merit go to their respective owners of the movies and music. I just wanted to make a fan-made video for fun.

It makes sense that this was directed by Chris Sanders, it’s very similar to both LILO and Stitch and HTTYD, for one, they all have this theme of family and characters from different backgrounds developing these wholesome relationships with each other, and specifically with HTTYD, Roz teaching Brightbill to fly is very similar to Hiccup helping Toothless fly

Wow. I must have subscribed to you about 10 years ago now, after I discovered HTTYD in 2013/2014. THIS EDIT took me back. Back to when I was a kid and finding the magic that was this movie. Awesome work here!

OMG that brought me to tears! What a song and what powerful memories with Hiccup and Toothless, and seeing them edited like this. The pure unadulterated JOY of being alive, that kind of feeling that HTTYD brought us back in those days. Can't be replaced. *Stoick voice* What a feeling! *lmaooo* I'm honored to be part of the Circle and a tiny bit of your inspo to create this piece.

Beautiful parallels with their first meeting and looking fear in the eye, and having to hold up everything inside, paralleled to Hiccup keeping Toothless' secret and having to *do* something about it by making the tail. And the catharsis of those flight sequences! Really good, classic thoughtfulness in this video, both lyrically and in the pacing and sequencing. A joy to watch.

HTTYD is what I have grown up with, and I keep finding more to learn from its story and characters. But as much as I have grown up with these movies, I have also grown up looking forward to your edits.

From an editing standpoint, this was phenomenal. I’ve done a lot of Httyd AMVs myself, and from one editor to another.. you did fabulous work here. The timing was perfect, the lyrics lined up with well-matched scenes, and I only almost got upset when you cut off the touch scene-but then you brought it back in a much better full-circle manner and l applaud the attention to detail and storytelling. That ending chorus especially with all the flying scenes was just gorgeous to watch and hear with the music!
I shall be subscribing and looking into more of your work. 😁👍❤️
