This was so helpful! I literally just found you and am already encouraged! We did Gentle + Classical Primer, plus a weekly COOP and Reading and Math and piano and tried to do history but I was overwhelmed haha. But my first kindergartener learned a lot and loved being homeschooled! We will continue G+C Primer until we are done because she loves the nursery rhymes and fairy tales etc... unless I decide to couch it until the 20 month old starts preschool and just pick it up then so I am not so overwhelmed. :)

Love to know what read alouds and readers you guys are using. Also love the idea of a field trip once a month. I had such high hopes this school year on that front and we did not meet my goals. Baby steps, and grace ❤

Hi! Just a thought, Kansas Library has awesome digital library services. Hoopla and Libby have a lot of audiobooks. And Kanopy has videos where they read children books.

What age would recommend to start world watch, for the oldest child? My oldest is going on 7, and then I have a 4 year old. Do you think it would be wise to wait a year or two? My 7 year old is pretty sensitive to people getting hurt, etc.
